In the early 20th Century, thousands of Chinese Hakka people settled in several Indian cities and created 'China Towns'. One such China Town exists in Kolkata, still bustling with life

The settlers assimilated many an Indian spice into their food and virtually created a new cuisine called 'Hakka Chinese'. This food movement gave birth to dishes like Veg Manchurian, Paneer Chilli Chicken, Pakora, Manchow and Sweet Corn Soup.
